Ciarda Tobin

Born in Limerick, Ireland at the advent of the early camcorder, she works in Fresh Film, an Irish national organisation for young filmmakers

  • specializing in film made by young people Ciarda has been working in youth film for over two decades and never ceased to be amazed by the breath of talent among young filmmakers

  • in her time working with Fresh Film she has seen thousands of films made by young filmmakers

  • in association with the Irish Film Institute she facilitated Ireland‘s jury in the 2018 and 2019 European Film Academy‘s‚ Youth Audience Awards‘ and has sat on juries for young people‘s film around the world

Marija Ratkovic Vidakovic

Born in Croatia in 1985, lives in Sweden and works as a film and media teacher, freelance producer and consultant

  • graduated Film, TV and Performing Arts Production at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2012

  • more than 15 years experience in the festival/event management and film industry, specialised in youth film

  • from 2013 coordinating Youth Cinema Network

  • one of the founding members of Four River Film Festival – international festival of high school film based in Karlovac (Croatia)

  • in 2018 finished her first film as director: mid-length documentary “IKEA for YU” screened at more than 25 festivals around the world

Miiel Ferráez

born in Mexico City, they grew up and started making films in a cornfield where UFOs landed

  • winner of the experimental category of the german short film award 2019

  • cofounder of the university of darkness

  • their experimental ghostpop album has been described by critics as ‘grausam’, ‘einfach schrecklich’ and ‘nur schlimm’

Saara Mildeberg | Jury moderation  

Born in 1992, raised by the Baltic Sea, lives and works in Tallinn as a junior researcher at the Centre for Landscape and Culture

  • freelance photographer, ethnologist and cultural manager

  • 2020 coordinator of the international competition OFFshorts at FiSH – Filmfestival im Stadthafen in Rostock, Germany

  • 2018/2019 coordinator of film discussions at CinéDOC-Tbilisi International Documentary Film Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia

  • since 2010: odd jobs at various film festivals across Europe

Jeanne Lehmann | Q&A moderation  

Born in 1994, from the northwest coast of Denmark, living in Copenhagen, studying art history and breathing photography

  • Danish photographer and art history student based in Copenhagen

  • attended the Media College Denmark as a Professional Photographer and now studying art history while working as a photographer

  • seasonally also moderates during the short film festivals FiSH and 48h of Hygge
