Aslı studied theater and media in Bayreuth, philosophy and sociology in Paris and documentary film directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. This was followed by editorial work for 3sat Kulturzeit, ZDF, ARD Auslandsstudio Warsaw, various film workshops in Israel and Turkey as well as various scholarships. Her debut film ELLBOGEN celebrated its world premiere at the 74th Berlinale in the Generation section.

Dorina has been working in the film industry for over 15 years. She runs the video streaming platform launched together with Transilvania Int. Film Festiva in 2019, dedicated to bring arthouse films to the local audiences all year round. On top of this, she works with the European Film Academy for the development of the European Film Club, a pan-European network for young people 12 to 19 to watch and discuss films.

Thomas is the artistic director of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck. From 2008 to 2019, he advised the festival director on the programming of the international competition of the Berlinale as curator. Previously, he was head of Generation, the Berlinale section for young audiences. Thomas has worked as a dramaturge and script consultant since 1995. He has been a member of the Head of Studies at the Academy for Children‘s Media. 

Jeanne works with empathetic photography at the intersection between anthropology and visual narrative. She is the co-founder of the short film festival 48h of Hygge, a time-based film festival and has a passion for visual culture and storytelling.

Born and raised by the Baltic Sea, lives and works in Tallinn as a freelance cultural critic and photographer, and as a researcher at Tallinn University. Besides writing about cultural events, she has a history of different jobs at various film festivals around Europe.
