The film industry in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern needs talent! Young filmmakers from Rostock have therefore joined forces and created an event that appeals to interested parties from all over the state: TAKEOFF MV.

The event aims to give participants a comprehensive insight into the various professional fields in film as well as the diverse networks and opportunities here in the state. TAKEOFF MV wants to show: Filmmaking in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has prospects and getting started is not difficult at all! The 48h film challenge TAKEACTION offers an opportunity to gain initial practical experience during this event.

Participants have 48 hours to shoot a film under a given motto, regardless of whether they use a cell phone or camera. The films are digitally supervised in the background by established filmmakers and then evaluated together at FiSH –  Filmfestival im StadtHafen.
