Bruno is a doctor, but has lost his license to practice. Now he stitches up wounds and cares for patients who prefer to remain hidden outside the system. When a lawyer offers him the chance to treat a criminal suffering from leukemia, his ambition is awakened. When he decides to take on the treatment, he finds himself caught between the fronts of organized crime – until things slip away from him.

Daniel Rakete Siegel
Daniel, born in Cologne in 1980, graduated from the ifs international film school in 2008. This was followed by a diploma at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2012. His student projects have screened at national and international film festivals. His first directorial work IM KNAST was nominated for the Grimme Award in 2016. After various works for bildundtonfabrik and UFE, among others, SCHOCK is his first cinema project and the first joint project with Denis Moschitto.

Denis Moschitto
Denis was born in Cologne in 1977. After several roles in various television productions and his first cinema role in GLOOMY SUNDAY – EIN LIED VON LIEBE UND TOD, Denis became known to a wide audience with SCHULE and NICHTS BEREUEN, in which he played alongside Jessica Schwarz. SCHOCK is his directorial debut.
