Get the basics, tips and tricks from Christiane, who, as coordinator for the Short Film Station, has already prepared the Berlinale Talents for the world of pitching. Whether animation, documentary film, commercial cinema, cross- and transmedia concepts or experimental video art – creativity needs openness. Trainer and consultant

  • Christiane works as a trainer for job counselling and media-related training initiatives. She was head of press at Berlinale Talents and coordinated the Short Film Station until 2019. With her company boxfish films, she conducted public relations for films such as HEAD ON and MANDERLAY.

Script Workshop

It always starts with an idea. But how does this idea become a good script? How are characters and emotions developed? And what helps when you’re stuck? Work together with director and screenwriter Max and get professional feedback on your ideas. In a small group and a safe space!

Please also answer the following two questions: “Why do you want to tell the story?” and “Who is the main character of your story and why?”

Max Gleschinski
Director and writer

  • Max, born in Rostock, grew up with FISH and has been making films for more than ten years. KAHLSCHLAG (2018) won the Förderpreis Neues Deutsches Kino, ALASKA (2023) the Max Ophüls Preis. He shot four episodes of Soko Köln and Rostock’s POLIZEIRUF 110: TU ES! for television, which will be broadcast next year.
