Northern European Music Video Award 2026

On August 6, 2026, the FiSH Film Festival Rostock, in partnership with Hanse Sail, presents HanseFiSH—the Baltic Sea region’s premier music video event.

Right on the beach, we celebrate the creative fusion of film and music by showcasing the best music videos from nine Baltic Sea nations on the big screen. Spanning from Norway to Poland, diverse visual styles, sounds, and cultural perspectives converge to make HanseFiSH a unique showcase for young film and music culture in Northern Europe — all set against a distinctive backdrop of sea, music, and maritime flair.

The competition features the best music videos from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Germany. Germany’s entry is determined through the FiSH Film Festival Rostock: the winners of the nationwide PopFiSH music video competition go on to represent Germany at HanseFiSH.
