The film industry in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is looking for talent! A group of young filmmakers have therefore teamed up and launched an event that addresses interested parties from all over the state: The TAKEOFF MV is intended to give participants a comprehensive insight into the various professional fields in film as well as into the diverse networks and opportunities here in the state. We want to show: Filmmaking in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has perspectives and getting started is not difficult at all!

The TAKEOFF MV is a low-threshold event for people of all ages from the age of 15 who feel they are in good hands with the film. However, the aim is not only to get the participants excited about filmmaking, but also to give them professional prospects here in the country.

The 48-hour film challenge TAKEACTION offered an opportunity to gain initial practical experience during this event. The participants had 48 hours to shoot a film under a given motto, regardless of whether it was a cell phone or a camera. In the background, the films were supervised by established filmmakers on site and digitally. We are pleased to be able to present the films at FiSH.
