Since 2006, Medienwerkstatt Rostock, together with the Medienanstalt Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, has been awarding the Media Literacy Prize MV. The prize honors projects that foster media competence among children, teenagers, and adults through creative and sustainable approaches.

The award ceremony traditionally takes place as part of the FiSH Film Festival. This year, we once again celebrate the diverse work behind the nominated projects and recognize the efforts being made in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to promote a thoughtful and responsible approach to media.
