🚀 Sputnik Preis 2025 🚀

Der diesjährige Sputnik Preis im Wettbewerb Junger Film wurde von der Kino-Crew des Fusion Festival verliehen und ging an OASIS von Lilith Klaus (23, Berlin) – ein Experimentalfilm, der mit 500€ Preisgeld und einer Einladung, den Film beim Fusion Festival 2025 zu präsentieren, ausgezeichnet wurde. 🏆

👏🏼 Lobende Erwähnungen gingen außerdem an:

7. Dezember 2024 von zwei 13-jährigen Jugendlichen aus Wismar – prämiert mit 200€

Neun Tage im August von Ella Knorz (23, München) – prämiert mit zwei Tickets fürs Fusion Festival 2025

This year’s Sputnik Award in the JUNGER FILM competition was awarded by the cinema crew of the Fusion Festival and went to OASIS by Lilith Klaus (23, Berlin) – an experimental film that received €500 in prize money and an invitation to present the film at the Fusion Festival 2025. 🏆

👏🏼 Special Mentions also went to:

Ein weiterer Tag, ein weiterer Preis - dieses Mal ein ganz besonderer, denn er wurde von der Jury gewählt, die am schwersten zufrieden zu stellen ist: dem Publikum! 👀

Der diesjährige Publikumspreis ging an „Neun Tage im August“ von Ella Knorz (23, München), einen mutigen und wichtigen Film über die ungeplante Schwangerschaft einer jungen Frau. 🎥

Der Publikumspreis geht an den Film mit der höchsten Durchschnittspunktzahl des JUNGER FILM- und des OFFshorts-Wettbewerbs und ist dotiert mit 1.001€ vom Branchenverband Film und Medien MV + dem, was das Publikum in die Spendenbox steckt. 🤩

Another day, another prize - this time a really special one, because it was chosen by the hardest jury to please: the audience!

This year’s Audience Award winner was „Neun Tage im August“ by Ella Knorz (23, München), a courageous and empowering film about a young woman’s unplanned pregnancy.

The Audience Award goes to the film with the highest average score of both the JUNGER FILM and the OFFshorts competition, and it is endowed with 1,001€ from the Branchenverband Film und Medien MV + whatever the audience puts inside the donation box.

🌊 Baltic FiSH Award 2025 🌊

This year, Malak Alamari from Sweden won the BalticFiSH. With her film “People watching“ she convinced the young Jury of the Jenaplan School Rostock. 🏆

The BalticFiSH award honours a film that deals with the Baltic Sea as a habitat: ecologically, socially, politically or culturally. It thereby encourages action in the sense of an ecologically and socially liveable world for us and future generations. 🌊🎥

It is endowed with 2,000 €, donated by the Baltic Sea Conservation Foundation.

7. Dezember 2024 ist ein beeindruckender Essayfilm von zwei 13-Jährigen Jugendlichen über die aktuellen Geschehnisse zu Krieg und dem gesellschaftlichen Rechtsruck, der im Rahmen eines Projekts der Medienwerkstatt ZEBRASTREIFEN bei einem Winterspaziergang in der Hansestadt Wismar entstanden ist.

It’s hard to believe it’s already over...🥲
The last few days have been full of special moments: impressive films, exciting conversations with great people, and many wonderful experiences.
All filmblocks were fully attended, the audience was enthusiastic and the atmosphere was simply unique.
