Indiefilmtalk@FiSH: How to get my film around the world?

May 9th | 4.15 pm – 5.00 pm | Scholle | Language: Englisch

Everyone likes to talk about movies. Rarely about making movies. And even more rarely about what happens in between or afterwards. So let’s do it, together with Yugen from Indiefilmtalk, here at FiSH!

Let’s find out together how short films by young people get into cinemas and festivals around the world, what strategies there are and what’s best for your film. We’ll talk about this with Lucy Pizaña, responsible for festival distribution and strategy at interfilm Berlin, and Jana Cernik, managing director of AG Kurzfilm.

About Lucy:

Lucy studied Film and Theatre Studies (BA) and Film Heritage (MA). Over the years she has immersed herself in various aspects of the film industry including organizing and curating film festivals and has also worked in film distribution. Currently she is researching Jewish film festivals at the Film University Babelsberg and is co-head of the new festival distribution at interfilm Berlin.

Über Yugen:
