Music videos can be submitted by filmmakers, bands, and musicians from the countries mentioned above. The only requirement: videos must not be older than two years. We especially welcome entries that portray modern and fair representations of social categories such as gender, origin, or age. Discriminatory content has no place here.

The best video from each country earns a spot in the competition. In addition, there is one Wild Card reserved for the winners of PopFiSH, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s statewide music video competition, announced during the FiSH Film Festival.

The HanseFiSH award ceremony takes place during Hanse Sail – the world’s largest annual gathering of traditional sailing ships. As part of a multi-day program, the selected music videos will be presented on the second weekend of August at the beautiful beach of Warnemünde, at the iconic Wal Bar.
