The film industry in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern needs talent! Young filmmakers from Rostock have come together to create an event that targets interested individuals from all over the state: TAKEOFF MV.
The event aims to provide participants with a comprehensive insight into the various career fields in film, as well as the diverse networks and opportunities available in the region. TAKEOFF MV wants to show that filmmaking in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has great potential, and getting started is easier than one might think!
To gain some hands-on experience, the 48h Film Challenge TAKEACTION offers participants the chance to create a film within 48 hours, based on a given theme, whether with a phone or a camera. Behind the scenes, the films will be digitally supported by established filmmakers and then evaluated together. The results will be showcased at the FiSH Film Festival Rostock.
